Who are we looking for?

Our awesome US teams are involved with project implementations, sales, customer support, and development for Vista’s client base across North America, and we are growing our teams in Beverly Hills-CA and Owosso-MI.

We need additional Account Managers to delight our customers, by ensuring the overall success of Vista software within our customers’ business operations. Building and maintaining a strong relationship, based off mutual visions and goals, and looking after the customers’ satisfaction with Vista’s products and services.

This is a hybrid role and will require regular weekly attendance in either our office in Beverly Hills, CA or Owosso, MI.

Your responsibilities

Customer Relations:

  • Build relationships with customers and take responsibility for their happiness and success with the Vista product suite
  • Monitor outstanding customer invoices and ensure accounts are in good standing when taking on new work - where accounts are past due, collaborate with finance to create a suitable payment plan
  • Monitor and track time spent on customers to appropriately invoice and collect compensation for work performed
  • Work with other members of the customer engagement team to set realistic expectations for objectives, requests, projects, product enhancements, and incidents to maintain customer happiness with the product and the team
  • Be the primary liaison for customers, keeping in regular contact to inform of Vista news, understand their needs, priorities, and take appropriate action accordingly
  • Know and understand customers’ business model, operations, and team - keeping customers informed of product updates that will compliment their business operation
  • Know and track the Vista applications customers use and how the Vista software fits in so that it may be optimized
  • Maintain customer details in CRM regularly
  • Listen, respond, and follow up proactively
  • Prioritize requests and provide direction to the teams
  • Make decisions that align with the best interests of the company and the customers’ needs
  • Ensure customers are receiving recommendations and best practices from the customer engagement team
  • Identify when results aren’t being produced for customers, or projects aren’t going according to plan - work with Senior Manager of Operations and customer engagement team to course correct, reset customers’ expectations, and create a great outcome
  • Engage Business Development for product demos and commercial discussions
  • Regular review of customer business model to ensure alignment with Vista’s products and services


  • Understand the cinema industry and how the Vista product relates
  • Maintain knowledge of current and new Vista products and features, becoming a functional expert to provide guidance to staff and answer customers’ questions regarding functionality, and demo when necessary
  • Gather and document the business reason behind enhancement and project requests to understand why a customer is motivated to make a change


  • Be a leader—contribute to decisions that affect the team, office, and customers
  • Run point on special operations or initiatives
  • Act as an escalation point for staff
  • Promote collaborative working relationships across teams
  • Contribute to developing internal processes and best practices
  • Participate in staff recruitment

The Account Manager Role

What you’ll need to bring:

  • Minimum of 1-year experience in a customer-facing role
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent command of the English language
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure, using independent discretion and judgment to assess situations and respond accordingly
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills
  • Basic knowledge of finance and accounting concepts
  • Tech savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Travel is required for the role, mostly domestic
