Tuesday 10 February – Auckland, New Zealand – VistaCon26, Vista Group’s global client conference, begins today at the Aotea Centre in Auckland, bringing together cinema exhibitors and industry partners from around the world for four days of connection, learning and innovation.
Vista Group, the global leader in providing technology and data solutions to the film industry, will use the week to showcase its latest innovations, help clients gain deeper insights into using Vista’s solutions to drive operational efficiency and enhance guest experiences, and connect them directly with the experts who design, build and support the technology they rely on every day.
This year’s conference theme - Illuminate - captures Vista Group’s focus on shining a light on new ways for cinemas to be more effective in their day‑to‑day delivery and elevate the moviegoing experience at every stage of the guest journey. The event builds on the momentum of the company’s conference in 2024, where Vista Group outlined its two‑year roadmap and showcased its expanding connected ecosystem.
Across the week, attendees will also hear keynote presentations focused on Vista Cloud, and the programme includes insights from global experts in cinema, guest experience and adjacent industries, exploring what today’s audiences value and how cinemas can evolve to meet changing expectations. A series of spotlight sessions will dive deeper into how to deliver outstanding digital experiences that reduce friction, boost engagement, and delight moviegoers across every sales channel.
VistaCon26 also marks an important moment for Vista Group: 30 years since the first cinema site went live with Vista Cinema software, at Village Highland Park in Auckland in December 1995. Over the past three decades, Vista Group has partnered with cinema teams around the world to help them run their businesses smoothly and create exceptional moviegoer experiences - a focus that remains central to Vista’s purpose today.
This week’s conference kicks off just as React, Vista Group’s new pulse survey built for cinema exhibitors, has gone live. React captures and transforms moviegoer sentiment and intent into strategic insights, helping cinemas deliver experiences that resonate, build loyalty, and encourage repeat attendance. It will be highlighted during the week as a key example of Vista’s commitment to practical, client‑focused innovation.
“VistaCon is a special moment for us because it brings us together with the cinema teams who make this industry what it is,” said Stuart Dickinson, CEO of Vista Group “We’re proud to support our clients with the mission‑critical technology they rely on every day, and this year we’re excited to share how Vista Cloud and our connected ecosystem will empower them to operate more efficiently and engage more deeply with their guests."
